I'm sorry to have to announce we have lost another classmate. David Thomas was a very colorful personality. I will post more info as it comes in but it seems he died in his sleep of heart failure/heart attack. One thing he did tell me was how much he really enjoyed our 30th Reunion and he helped me with the Memorial slideshow. He was profoundly upset that so many of us had passed away and wanted to make sure I knew who to contact for photographs.
I found a few FaceBook postings that made me smile. I'll update with the funeral arrangements and obit when they are announced.
"Can't
believe it been 30 years, The class of 82 is such a magical class with
beautiful people. These past 2 years I had the great honor of being
reunited with some old friends and making friends to those that I wasn't
close to in high school, To those that I may have had issues with or
vice versa, I hope tonight we can bury the hatchet, I always for new
beginnings.I drove around the old campus the other day, The old building
is such a lonely place w/o the class of 82. I know all classes say this
but the class of 82 is the BEST, Hope to see you all in just a few "
"One
of favorite highlights of the night was Lisa Gustin forgiving me for
throwing a rock at their family car and busting out the windshield when I
was such a stupid kid . That's been on my conscience for almost 35
years now."
Go with the Angels David, you will be missed here on earth.
